Our Approach

Whether the assignment is to raise capital, assist in a minority or majority sale of a company or assist in acquisitions, we customize our approach to fit client needs. We generally will follow these principles:
  • The process is carefully planned in advance with a timetable for events and responsibilities, and with an identified transaction structure and estimates of valuation ranges.
  • Potential buyers/investors receive a professionally prepared, well planned information package in levels of detail staged to their needs in terms of the review process.
  • The "best" buyers/investors/targets are identified and, if appropriate, contacted from an extensive search effort. We tend to cast our net wide, to include strategic investors worldwide, public companies looking to expand, private equity funds, special purpose acquisition companies, and any parties evidencing an interest in investing in the sector and having the capital and infrastructure to conclude the necessary investment. Interest is generally pre-screened without revealing the client name.
  • Attractive pricing is achieved, generally with interest from multiple parties.
  • BHC negotiates a detailed sale agreement together with clearly identified steps to the closing.
  • The process results in a timely, fully-priced transaction that closes for our clients.
  • The most attractive buyer/investors participate in the review process, including any company visits.
